The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Stevenson. No joy for Bisping on that attempt.
Bisping tries to move into range but Stevenson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Jonatan Bisping has been cut.
Stevenson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

and Bisping decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stevenson's guard.

Bisping drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bisping jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bisping stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stevenson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stevenson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stevenson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bisping works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Bisping in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Stevenson tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Bisping!
