Matsumoto has chosen I.V. by X-Japan as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bushido shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Matsumoto napping and manages to drive through into side control!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Bushido tries to stand but Matsumoto controls the position and pulls Bushido into his guard.

Matsumoto is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Matsumoto is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Bushido has his hands clasped together but Matsumoto extends an breaks Bushido's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Matsumoto.
