Holmes closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Omar did well to prevent Holmes getting side control.
Holmes wants to pass the guard but Omar is defending well.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Holmes connects with a nice short shot to Omar's temple.

Holmes is posturing up here but Omar has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Holmes tries to roll out but it's too tight and Holmes has to tap! Slick submission there by Omar!
