PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Naor Yozem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremiah Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Yozem might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Chris Cornell - You Know My Name. Jeremiah Kidd looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yozem looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kidd!
Kidd looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Yozem pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Kidd takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Yozem is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Kidd fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Yozem sprawls well initially but Kidd persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Yozem working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kidd doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kidd manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Yozem feints and as Kidd raises his hands in defense, Yozem changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Yozem lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Yozem gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Kidd rushes Yozem and presses him up against the cage.
Kidd prevents a takedown attempt there.
Yozem tries to pull guard but Kidd holds him up against the cage and eventually Yozem drops back down to his feet.
Kidd wants to get back to striking at distance but Yozem won't allow it.

Yozem has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kidd is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kidd is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Kidd breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Yozem counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kidd!

Yozem wants to finish this one by submission but Kidd is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Yozem.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big strike lands for Yozem! That's really hurt Kidd and he's turned his back - Yozem keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Yozem Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
