Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogun Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacks Sole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Kashmir. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jacks Sole!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva slips a jab and a cross from Sole.
Sole dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That kick from Silva tenderised Sole's leg. Sole is trying to keep his angry face on.
Silva blocks a jab.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Silva lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sole has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sole and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Sole throws a right hand that misses
and Silva counters with a nice body kick.
Silva throws a shot to the body.
Jacks Sole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sole throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Silva throws a series of punches but Sole avoids them all with ease.
Nice uppercut lands for Silva. That snapped Sole's head back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sole takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Both fighters circling a little - Sole finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Sole throws a body punch but Silva moves out of range.
Silva throws a leg kick that misses.
Silva tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Silva bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sole throws the left hand but Silva avoids the punch easily.
Sole is looking to chop away at Silva's legs.
A slow jab from Silva misses its intended target.
Sole shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Sole keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sole walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Sole is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Silva takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Sole throws a jab when Silva was well out of range.
Sole pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sole lands with a straight right. Silva didn't see that one coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva connects with a jab.
Silva keeps the fight on the outside.
Silva clobbers Sole with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sole throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Silva sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Silva buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Silva throws out a powerful jab.
Silva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sole. That did some damage!
Silva throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Silva jabs Sole to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Sole looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sole's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Silva connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sole scrambles back to his feet.

Silva cracks Sole with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Sole chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Silva can pounce on him.
Sole wants to land a leg kick but Silva is out of range.
Silva lands with a kick to the ribs.
Silva thuds his shin into the meat of Sole's side.
Silva connects with a leg kick. Sole looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Silva lands a leg kick that knocks Sole off balance momentarily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Silva throws a good cross that connects.
Sole takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sole takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Silva connects with a nice looking jab.
Silva lands with a kick to the ribs.
Silva thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sole if he has to take too many more of those.
Silva fakes the leg kick and cracks Sole in the body.
Shogun Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Silva thumps Sole with a low kick.
Silva throws a one two combo.

Sole is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sole gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Silva gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
