Foreman has chosen Impaled Nazarene - "Armageddon Death Squad" as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Quinton Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George Foreman!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
George Foreman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Foreman plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!


It looks like Quinton Jackson has been cut.
Foreman jabs Jackson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Foreman is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Foreman takes a swing at Jackson's ribcage but misses.
Foreman throws a combination that misses
and Jackson counters with a left and a right that stings Foreman.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jackson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Foreman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Foreman is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Jackson asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Jackson looking to control but instead Foreman has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Foreman keeps working.

Foreman has one foot on Jackson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Foreman fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Foreman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Foreman lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Foreman.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jackson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Foreman connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jackson scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Foreman connects with a jab.


Jackson is rocked!
Foreman lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Jackson crumples to the floor! Foreman milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). George Foreman!
