The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

St Paul closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
St Paul with the ground and pound but Bellic uses the opportunity to regain guard.

St Paul looking to sit in guard and control but Bellic gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

St Paul is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Bellic tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

St Paul is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bellic asserts his dominance and retains side control.

St Paul tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bellic wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
