Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tone Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morris kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Heartbeats. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tone Cross!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Horrible takedown by Cross or perhaps it was just good defense by Morris which made him look bad.
Morris clobbers Cross with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Tone Cross has been cut.
Morris throws a shot from downtown. Cross moves away and avoids it.
Morris tries to bum rush Cross with a series of wild strikes but Cross uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cross shoots in for a double leg but Morris sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Horrible takedown by Cross or perhaps it was just good defense by Morris which made him look bad.
Desmond Morris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tone Cross.
Morris looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Morris lands a leg kick that knocks Cross off balance momentarily.
Cross looks gassed!
Morris throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cross stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Desmond Morris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morris buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Morris's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cross under the eye.
Morris connects with a body shot that sends Cross's belly button to the back.
Morris scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Cross takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Morris throws a quick inside leg kick.
Crack! Morris connects with the perfect overhand right and Cross falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Morris!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Desmond Morris!
Our winner, Desmond Morris, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
