PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Roward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petri Saarinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roward kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Amazing. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roward missing with a left hand there. Saarinen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Saarinen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Roward connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Saarinen scrambles back to his feet.

Roward has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Saarinen pulls Roward in close to prevent any damage.
Roward knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Saarinen on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Saarinen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Roward defends well.
Roward has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Saarinen is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Saarinen is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Roward rolls with it to try and escape but Saarinen cranks on the arm and Roward is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
