Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson fails with a takedown attempt.
Donald looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Johnson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Donald tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Johnson is in Donald's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Donald keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully.
Johnson is really struggling to control Donald but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Donald on the ground.
Johnson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson showed some decent athleticism there.

Johnson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Donald doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Johnson.

Donald is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Donald moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Donald wants to sweep but no luck.
Johnson landing some decent shots from guard.

Johnson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Johnson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Donald's half guard.

Johnson stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Donald to get to his feet.

Donald leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Donald looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Donald persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Donald throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Donald off to one side.
Johnson scores with a jab. Donald acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Johnson throws a sloppy body shot
and Donald makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Johnson really felt that one!

Johnson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Donald to the ground. Johnson is now in Donald's guard.

Johnson stands up from Donald's guard - Johnson perhaps looking for a knockout.
Johnson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Johnson shoots in but Donald avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown but Donald shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Donald shoots in looking for a takedown but Johnson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Donald's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Johnson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Donald sprawls well initially but Johnson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Donald is defending against the submission attempts here by Johnson.
Donald looks like he's trying to stand up.
Donald manages to get to full guard.

Johnson controlling from the top position.
Johnson looking to pass the guard.
Johnson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Donald wants to stand but Johnson is controlling the position.

Donald has his foot on Johnson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnson works his way back into a safe position though.
Donald can't keep his opponent in guard - Johnson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Johnson maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Donald could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Johnson has cracked it and Donald is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Johnson!
