Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Drako Drakodyak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Laldama Sailo!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sailo throws a body kick the misses
and Drakodyak counters with a head kick.
Nice sprawl there from Drakodyak as Sailo shoots in.
Drakodyak pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sailo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Drakodyak throws a sloppy head kick and Sailo moves out of range easily.
Sailo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Drakodyak is fending him off so far but Sailo persists. Nope, Drakodyak circles away and we're back to standing.
A head kick from Drakodyak lands but Sailo takes it in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sailo throws a right hand that Drakodyak ducks under and follows up with a left that Drakodyak also avoids with ease.
Drakodyak throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Drakodyak misses with a wild body shot.
Sailo shoots and misses
and Drakodyak counters with an outside leg kick.
Drako Drakodyak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Laldama Sailo.
Drakodyak lands with a slapping head kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Drakodyak finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Sailo looks gassed!
Sailo wants to clinch
and Drakodyak counters with a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Drakodyak lands a big head kick that sends Sailo tumbling to the mat! Drakodyak takes a step backwards and waves Sailo back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Sailo is rocked!
It looks like Laldama Sailo has been cut.
Sailo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Drakodyak counters with a monster head kick that knocks Sailo out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
