Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Skorpio.
Espiritu throws a lazy head kick
enabling Skorpio to counter with a crisp jab.
Espiritu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Skorpio moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Skorpio fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Espiritu, pushing him back against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Skorpio.
Espiritu looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Skorpio keeps control of Espiritu as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Espiritu tries to circle away but Skorpio has him pinned against the cage.
Skorpio has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Espiritu regains guard immediately.
Skorpio controlling from the top position.
Skorpio passes Espiritu's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Well, if Skorpio is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Skorpio winds up and cracks Espiritu with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Skorpio maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Espiritu could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Skorpio has cracked it and Espiritu is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Skorpio!
