Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Rj Paned!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Dwayne Harris!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Paned clinches.
Harris jumps guard but Paned stands there with Harris around his waist. Harris gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Paned keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Harris's efforts to push away.

Paned has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Harris regains guard immediately.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Paned decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Paned closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Harris did well to prevent Paned getting side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Rj Paned will probably get the nod.

Paned forces Harris back against the cage and clinches.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Paned postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Harris looks a forlorn figure.

Paned just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Harris is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Paned gets his way!

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Harris looking very determined here, making life difficult for Paned.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Paned, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
