The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manuel is looking to chop away at Winnfield's legs.
Manuel fails to land with a series of punches.
Manuel tries to close the distance and clinch but Winnfield swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Winnfield bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Manuel misses with a lunging right hand
and Winnfield counters with a stiff right hand.
Manuel misses with a leg kick
and Winnfield counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Manuel shoots for a takedown but Winnfield saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Manuel fails with the takedown.
Manuel shoots in for a double leg but Winnfield sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jules Winnfield has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raive Manuel.
Winnfield cracks Manuel with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Raive Manuel has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Winnfield smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Manuel throws a right and a left that both miss.
Manuel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Winnfield swivels and escapes.

Winnfield putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Manuel in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Winnfield comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Still in the clinch, Winnfield scores with a nice short uppercut.

Winnfield digs a right hand underneath Manuel's ribcage. Manuel let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Winnfield stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Winnfield digs a right hand into Manuel's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Manuel's gas tank.

Winnfield lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Manuel backwards.
Manuel is still on wobbly legs! Can Winnfield finish him?

That has opened up Raive Manuel's cut even more.
Winnfield creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Manuel's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Manuel drops to his knees and Winnfield pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
