Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eki Vieri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Eki Vieri has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor lands a slapping body shot.
Vieri tries to bum rush Taylor with a series of wild strikes but Taylor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Taylor feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Vieris jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Taylor slips a jab and a cross from Vieri.
Taylor scores with a decent looking hook.
Vieri misses with a series of wild punches.
Vieri throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Taylor shoots for a double leg takedown but Vieri sprawls well. He's pushed Taylor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Vieri throws the left hand but Taylor avoids the punch easily.
Vieri lands a jab.
Taylor throws an overhand right that lands on Vieri's shoulder, as Vieri tries to avoid the shot.
Vieri misses with the combination.

Vieri cracks Taylor with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Taylor closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vieri quickly recovers to half guard.

Taylor seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vieri does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Well, if Taylor is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Vieri pushes Taylor away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Taylor gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Taylor has hold of Vieri's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Vieri manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Taylor cracks Vieri with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Taylor lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Oh Vieri is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
