Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gilmarcos Glustak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiwi Bird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gilmarcos Glustak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kiwi Bird!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glustak connects with a high kick.

Glustak moves into the clinch.
Bird can't break the clinch.

Glustak pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Glustak closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bird quickly recovers to half guard.

Glustak gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Glustak has taken the fight to the clinch.

Glustak manages to break the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Danga de danga de dang - Glustak scores with a four punch combination!
Glustak could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Bird is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Glustak has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bird is trying to keep an underhook but Glustak manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Glustak is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Glustak looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Glustak throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bird really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Glustak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bird is trying to stand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Glustak is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bird to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bird shrugs it off.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Glustak's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Glustak is pushing down on Bird's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bird is fighting to maintain full guard but Glustak has managed to sneak the leg through.

Glustak seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Bird is breathing heavily.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Glustak seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bird for as long as he can get away with.
