The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitus fails with the takedown.
Jitus throws a head kick but Nogueira moves out of range.
Jitus tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nogueira swivels and escapes.

and Nogueira counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jitus's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
