Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyson Edger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Mica!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edger fails to land with a series of punches.
Mica looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Edger fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mica.
Danga de danga de dang - Edger scores with a four punch combination!

Mica changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Edger looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Mica sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Edger is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Mica tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mica has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Mica postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Mica tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Mica working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Mica tries to advance to mount but Edger denies him.

Edger tries to bench press Mica off him but Mica keeps the position.
Mica misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Edger wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Mica.
Mica throws some wild stikes that Edger manages to avoid easily.
Edger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mica on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Edger defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Mica.
Mica throws some wild stikes that Edger manages to avoid easily.
Edger on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Edger tries to get out of the position.

Mica is working for a guillotine from mount but Edger frees his head quite easily.
Edger holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Mica tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Mica throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Poor strikes thrown by Mica there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Mica goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Edger is on top in guard.

Edger wants to stand but Mica has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Mica manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Edger manages to get himself to full guard.
Mica throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Edger works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mica is pushing down on Edger's leg trying to pass to half guard. Edger is fighting to maintain full guard but Mica has managed to sneak the leg through.
Mica thows a huge punch but Edger dodges it nicely.

Mica seems to be working for a kimura but Edger defends the submission attempt.

Mica is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Edger is trying to escape and Mica transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Edger is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mica! Very nice indeed!
