Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osmond Schwartz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramirez Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schwartz comes to the cage accompanied by Hell March. Ramirez Escobar acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Osmond Schwartz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ramirez Escobar!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Schwartz.


It looks like Ramirez Escobar has been cut.
Ramirez Escobar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Escobar misses with a kick to the body.
Escobar swats away the attempt to clinch by Schwartz.
Escobar bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Schwartz moves out of range as Escobar throws a body kick.
Schwartz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Schwartz blocks a head kick by Escobar.
Escobar tries to land a front kick but Schwartz steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Schwartz drives through with a takedown into Escobar's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Schwartz passes Escobar's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Schwartz wants to control but Escobar is keeping him busy.

Escobar avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Schwartz.
Escobar is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Schwartz scores with a couple of nice shots.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Schwartz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Escobar keeps working.
Schwartz is looking to stall here but Escobar recovers full guard.
Escobar keeping moving, preventing Schwartz from controlling successfully.

Schwartz is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Escobar is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Schwartz pushing down on Escobar's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Schwartz wants to control but Escobar is keeping him busy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Schwartz trying to mount his opponent but Escobar defends it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Schwartz misses with a head shot. Escobar uses the momentum to regain guard.
Schwartz passes Escobar's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Escobar is staying active underneath Schwartz, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Schwartz frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Schwartz controlling his opponent.

Schwartz jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Escobar is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Escobar and Schwartz has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Schwartz connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Escobar some visible discomfort.
Schwartz staying calm.
Schwartz trying to control the action but Escobar is working from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Escobar trying to remain calm as Schwartz controls from the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Osmond Schwartz dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ramirez Escobar's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Schwartz takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Schwartz gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Schwartz tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Escobar's elbow.
Escobar has a couple of punches blocked by Schwartz.
A head punch on the inside from Escobar fails to land.
Schwartz lands an uppercut.
Schwartz lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Escobar is still on wobbly legs! Can Schwartz finish him?
Escobar misses with a hook from the clinch.
Schwartz misses with some punches.

Schwartz tightens his grip and picks Escobar up, before dumping him to the ground. Escobar manages to land in guard.
Schwartz looking to pass the guard.
Escobar seems to have recovered his senses.
Schwartz forces his way into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Schwartz passes to full mount!

Schwartz swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Escobar is now in Schwartz's guard. A big mistake from Schwartz there, giving up the dominant position!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Schwartz manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Schwartz connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Escobar is breathing heavily.
Schwartz trying to control but Escobar is having none of it.
A big strike lands for Schwartz! That's really hurt Escobar and he's turned his back - Schwartz keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Schwartz jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Osmond Schwartz!
Osmond Schwartz spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a big arrogant.
