PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Panda Bare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ignatious Hashisha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bare's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ashes of the Wake. Bare has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Panda Bare!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ignatious Hashisha!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hashisha takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Hashisha missing with a left hand there. Bare was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bare shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hashisha but Hashisha pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bare is breathing heavily.
Hashisha looks to throw the jab but Bare is out of range.
Bare slips a jab and a cross from Hashisha.
Bare changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hashisha tries to avoid it but Bare manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hashisha to the ground. Hashisha escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hashisha lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
A slow jab from Hashisha misses its intended target.
Bare needs to keep his hands up - Hashisha had a free shot at his head there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hashisha connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bare momentarily.
Hashisha lands a jab to Bare's midsection.
Hashisha throws a nice looking combination but Bare bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hashisha drops Bare with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bare looks back up at him and smiles so Hashisha waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Bare is rocked!
Bare takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Oh Bare is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bare drops his hands for a split second and Hashisha immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Bare face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Hashisha follows up with a right hand that knocks Bare into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
