Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlo Mouzone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mouzone darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Rodriguez wants to get back to his feet.
Mouzone lands with a punch from half guard.
Rodriguez tries to kick Mouzone off but Mouzone keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Mouzone is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Rodriguez looks like he's trying to stand up.
Mouzone is trying to work for a kimura but Rodriguez is defending well.

Rodriguez tries to kick Mouzone off but Mouzone keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rodriguez is not content to let Mouzone control the position.
Mouzone lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Mouzone lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Rodriguez wants to stand back up but Mouzone manages to pass into side control.

Rodriguez is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mouzone asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Rodriguez takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Mouzone cracks Rodriguez with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Mouzone immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Rodriguez is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Mouzone!
