Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cisay Salace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. N.E.R.D. - Rockstar remix kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dennis Robinson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Dennis Robinson!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robinson shoots in and bounces Salace off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Robinson passes into half guard.
Salace misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Robinson is working for a submission of some sort.
Robinson is thwarting Salace's attempts to control the position.
Salace tries to roll over but Robinson keeps him under control.

Robinson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Salace wants to control but Robinson is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Robinson seems to be working for a kimura but Salace defends the submission attempt.
Salace is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Salace moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Salace wants to control but Robinson is keeping busy.
Robinson is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Robinson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Salace swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Salace had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Robinson defends it easily.

Salace is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Robinson moves into full mount! Salace won't be happy about that!

Robinson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Salace to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Salace shrugs it off.

Robinson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Salace has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Salace!
Robinson wants to sweep here but Salace controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Salace drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Salace jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Salace throws a big right hand that misses.

Robinson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Salace can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Robinson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Salace gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A close round but Dennis Robinson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Robinson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Robinson shoots for a double leg takedown but Salace sprawls well. He's pushed Robinson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cisay Salace.
I think Robinson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
