These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Spencer moves in looking to clinch but Bronson pushes him off.

and Bronson counters by clinching up.

Bronson drops Spencer with a big knee straight up the middle! Spencer is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

It looks like Dionzo Spencer has been cut.

Spencer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bronson!

Spencer goes for an armbar but Bronson turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bronson.

Bronson decides to stand and escape the position.
Bronson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bronson tries to close the distance and clinch but Spencer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Spencer swings for the body but Bronson moves out of range.
Dionzo Spencer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spencer keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Spencer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bronson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bronson stuffs the takedown attempt from Spencer. Spencer gets slowly back to his feet.
