PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karate Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariel Ornias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kid kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Go to sleep. Karate Kid has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ariel Ornias!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kid misses the shot to the body.

Ornias throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kid tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ornias is in Kid's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Kid throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ornias escapes and throws Kid's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Kid tries to buck Ornias off but Ornias is having none of it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Karate Kid will probably get the nod.

Ornias is nestled in close to Kid, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
