The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesenkov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gunn.
Gunn takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lesenkov misses with a straight right.
Gunn has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gunn there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Sam Gunn has been cut.
Artem Lesenkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gunn ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Oh Gunn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lesenkov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Lesenkov throws a right and a left that Gunn avoids nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Lesenkov. Those never looked like landing.
Lesenkov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gunn.
Lesenkov misses with an uppercut. Gunn saw that one coming.

Gunn seems to have got his legs back now.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Lesenkov leaves Gunn with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lesenkov cracks Gunn with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Gunn falls to his knees and Lesenkov doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
