Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Activin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barbara Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boxer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Activin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Boxer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Activin was covering up waiting for the punch and Boxer finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boxer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Barbara Boxer wasn't active enough on the ground.
Nice takedown defense from Boxer. No joy for Activin on that attempt.

Boxer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Activin tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Boxer presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Boxer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Activin sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Boxer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Activin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like George Activin has been cut.
Boxer cracks Activin with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Barbara Boxer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Boxer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
