Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abu Davee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Davee dodges the punch combination from Diaz.
Diaz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Diaz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Davee moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Davee lands a nice shot that snaps Diaz's head back.
Diaz throws a nice looking combination but Davee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Diaz throws a right and a left that Davee avoids nicely.
Diaz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davee.
Diaz falls off balance throwing a combination
and Davee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nick Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diaz misses with a two punch combination.
Diaz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Davee misses with a double jab.
Diaz slips under a jab.
Diaz goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Davee lands a left and a right that send Diaz crashing to the mat, dazed. Davee thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Diaz is rocked!

It looks like Nick Diaz has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Davee slips a jab and a cross from Diaz.
Oh Diaz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Davee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Diaz was well out of range. Poor timing from Davee.
Sloppy strikes from Davee. Those never looked like landing.
Diaz throws a right and a left that Davee avoids nicely.
Davee connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Diaz's hands.
No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Diaz is breathing heavily.
Davee steps in with a hook that catches Diaz right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Davee follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Diaz looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Abu Davee!
Our winner, Abu Davee, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
