Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Koko LaRue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Deby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaRue comes to the cage accompanied by Dead or Alive - Lover Come Back to Me. Robert Deby has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaRue throws a head kick that misses
and Deby decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in LaRue's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Deby shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as LaRue sprawls well. LaRue wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Deby gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Koko LaRue will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Deby shoots for a double leg takedown but LaRue sprawls well. He's pushed Deby's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Deby tries to keep at a distance but LaRue has taken the fight into the clinch.
Deby jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as LaRue walks away with a smile on his face. Deby gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Deby will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Deby really doesn't want to stay on the ground with LaRue. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Koko LaRue decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
