Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dalern Hardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abe Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Patterson.

Hardt moves to clinch but Patterson breaks away
and Hardt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Patterson dodges the punch combination from Hardt.
Hardt throws a series of punches but Patterson avoids them all with ease.

Hardt misses with a low kick as Patterson jumps back.

Hardt is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Patterson is defending well for now.

Hardt tries to bum rush Patterson with a series of wild strikes but Patterson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dalern Hardt.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hardt, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
