Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manny Donkers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Third Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boy has chosen New York as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 2, fighting out of London, Manny Donkers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Third Boy!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy throws a hook but Donkers blocks it.
Donkers fails in his attempt to clinch.

Boy drives through with a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Donkers keeping moving, preventing Boy from controlling successfully.
Boy lands a couple of digs.
Donkers can't keep his opponent in guard - Boy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Donkers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boy on the ground.
Boy is looking to advance position but Donkers won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boy passes to side control.

Boy tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
An elbow from Boy crashes against the mat.

Boy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Boy wants to control but Donkers is keeping him busy.

Donkers is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Boy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Boy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Boy postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Boy working the strikes but Donkers uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Boy is looking to advance position but Donkers won't allow it.
Boy sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Donkers defending well though.
Boy missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Boy is looking for a kimura but Donkers is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Boy to get the leverage.
Boy wants to free his trapped foot but Donkers is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Boy throws a strike but Donkers avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Donkers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Donkers wants to stand and escape but Boy is having none of it.
Boy trying to control the position from guard on top but Donkers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boy with a flurry of punches that miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Third Boy dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Boy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Boy is just content to waste time from the top position. Donkers takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Boy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Boy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Boy slips nicely into half guard.
Boy is nestled in close to Donkers, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Boy moves into full mount! Donkers won't be happy about that!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Donkers wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Boy.

Boy throwing strikes here but Donkers is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Donkers taking shots to the head.
Boy lands a heavy elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Donkers is squirming around, avoiding Boy's attempts to control the action.
Donkers wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Boy.
Boy landing strikes from the mount.
Boy lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Donkers hang on?

Boy with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Boy goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Donkers is on top in guard.
Boy is trying to keep Donkers in close.

Boy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Donkers can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Third Boy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Boy fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Boy throws a poor cross that misses

and Donkers moves into the clinch.
Donkers scores with a nice hook to the head.
Donkers lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Boy fails to pull guard.
A short right from Donkers.
Donkers lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Boy backwards.
Boy's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Donkers is fighting off a takedown attempt but Boy is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Donkers to the mat. Donkers regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Boy throws and elbow that misses. Donkers uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Boy's guard. Nice move by Donkers!
Boy wants to sweep here but Donkers controlling him for the moment.
Boy is trying to control the position but Donkers postures up.

Donkers would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Boy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Donkers is one step ahead there.
Donkers wanted to stand there but Boy had control of the position.
Boy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Donkers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Third Boy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Boy winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
