Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Fernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson comes to the cage accompanied by Thriller Indiano. Fernandes has chosen Battle Ready - Otep as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandes takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Tyson misses with a double jab
and Fernandes counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Tyson is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Tyson throws a head kick but Fernandes moves out of range.
Fernandes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tyson.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fernandes avoids the body shot from Tyson.
Tyson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fernandes looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tyson.
Fernandes looks gassed!
Fernandes takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Fernandes takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Paulo Fernandes has been cut.
Tyson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A good leg kick by Tyson.
Tyson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tyson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tyson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Fernandes. That did some damage!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tyson drops Fernandes with a beautiful combination! Fernandes stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tyson is looking for the KO!

Fernandes is rocked!
Tyson feints a jab and as Fernandes dips his head, Tyson unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Fernandes right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Fernandes falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Tyson smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jason Tyson!
Jason Tyson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
