Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Cunningham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asif Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cunningham comes into the arena with Jester blaring out of the sound system. Asif Singh acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Cunningham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Asif Singh!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cunningham takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Cunningham wants to clinch up but Singh keeps it at a distance.
Cunningham uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Singh.
Cunningham misses with a body kick.
Singh fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Cunningham swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cunningham throws a left and a right that both miss
and Singh makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Singh avoids a punch combination nicely.
A combination from Cunningham does no damage.
Cunningham misses with a shot to the body
and Singh counters with a left to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fight stays on the outside here - Cunningham looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Cunningham falls off balance throwing a combination
and Singh counters with a nice body shot.
Cunningham is breathing heavily.
Singh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Singh lands a head shot.
Singh ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Cunningham. Those never looked like landing.
Singh feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cunningham sprawling to the canvas! Cunningham rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Singh finish him?!
Cunningham is rocked!
It looks like Josh Cunningham has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Singh is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Cunningham flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cunningham is out cold! Singh holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Asif Singh!
