Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brian Harvey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Quid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harvey comes to the cage accompanied by E-17 "Deep". Quid has chosen The Wicker Man as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harvey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Quid's waist but Quid gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harvey off to one side.

Harvey changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Quid tries to avoid it but Harvey manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Quid to the ground. Quid escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Harvey feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
