The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Mullder counters with a nice uppercut.

and Cross takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Cross feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mullder sprawling to the canvas! Mullder rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cross finish him?!

Cross throws a hook but Mullder avoids it easily.

Cross connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mullder momentarily.
Cross is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Cross throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mullder sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cross misses with a right hand
and Mullder counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Mullder's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cross connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mullder scrambles back to his feet.

Mullder displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cross throws out the jab.

and Mullder counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mullder looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mullder swings for the body but Cross moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Mullder uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cross.
Cross goes for a small jab and connects. Now Cross goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Mullder stumbles back but Cross runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Mullder to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Mullder will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
