Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pete Kolinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glenn Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pete Kolinski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Glenn Rivera!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolinski circles away from the clinch attempt

and Kolinski counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kolinski.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kolinski creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kolinski is trying to force a seperation but Rivera has the dominant position.
Kolinski is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kolinski changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rivera fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Rivera is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kolinski pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Rivera wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Kolinski ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kolinski no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kolinski wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rivera won't allow Kolinski to get back to his feet.
Kolinski could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Kolinski digs a right hand into Rivera's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Rivera's gas tank.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pete Kolinski will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Rivera drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rivera jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Rivera shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Kolinski gets in close and instigates a clinch.
