Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Flint Marko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Wiedman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Flint Marko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Wiedman!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marko staying out of range there.
A big left from Wiedman misses.

Wiedman has Marko up against the cage in a clinch.
Marko fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Marko can't get the takedown.

Wiedman breaks from the clinch.
Wiedman stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Wiedman slaps away a takedown attempt from Marko, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Wiedman clobbers Marko with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Wiedman throws a series of punches but Marko moves out of range.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Marko wants to break free but Wiedman has control.
Marko has Wiedman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wiedman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Wiedman manages to break the clinch.
Wiedman uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Jack Wiedman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wiedman misses with an uppercut.
Marko misses with an uppercut. Wiedman saw that one coming.
Wiedman works over Marko's head and body with a nice combination.

Marko tries to score a body lock takedown but Wiedman shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Wiedman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Marko throws an overhand right that lands on Wiedman's shoulder, as Wiedman tries to avoid the shot.
Wiedman throws the kick towards the body but Marko avoids it.
Wiedman lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Wiedman looks to throw the jab but Marko is out of range.
Wiedman throws a looping overhand right but Marko ducks down to avoid it.

Wiedman closes the distance and clinches.
Wiedman scores with a shot to the side of Marko's head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Wiedman.
Wiedman throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Markos head.

Wiedman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A cross from Wiedman lands.
Wiedman leaves Marko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Wiedman fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Marko is out of range.
Wiedman lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Marko shoots in but no luck this time.
No luck for Marko with that takedown attempt.
Wiedman throws a head kick that half lands.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Marko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wiedman smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Marko throws a jab but it's blocked by Wiedman.
Marko has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Wiedman.
Marko is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wiedman.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Marko avoids the head kick by Wiedman.

Marko shoots and misses
and Wiedman counters with a stiff right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Wiedman counters with a slapping leg kick.
Wiedman scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Wiedman is looking to chop away at Marko's legs.
Marko takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Wiedman turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Wiedman fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Marko on the side of the head.

A nice leg kick lands there from Wiedman.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Marko. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Marko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wiedman but Wiedman pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wiedman moves into range and connects with a jab.
That kick from Wiedman tenderised Marko's leg. Marko is trying to keep his angry face on.
Marko gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wiedman lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Marko gets tackled into the cage by Wiedman. Wiedman maintains the clinch.

Wiedman lands with a short shot to the head.
Marko is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Wiedman makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Wiedman utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Wiedman lands a left hand.

Wiedman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wiedman missing with a left hand there. Marko was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wiedman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Marko doesn't seem bothered though.
Marko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Wiedman throws a leg kick which misses Marko's front leg but catches the back leg as Marko tries to avoid it.

Marko looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Wiedman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Marko gets the takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Marko wants to control but Wiedman is keeping him busy.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Marko cracks Wiedman with a big right hand but Wiedman just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Marko misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Jack Wiedman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Marko takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Wiedman looks for the body kick but Marko saw that one coming.

Wiedman has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Marko on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Marko is trying to push Wiedman away but Wiedman has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Wiedman has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wiedman throws a chopping leg kick but Marko manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Wiedman lands with a hook. Marko tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Wiedman throws a shot from downtown. Marko moves away and avoids it.
Wiedman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
No luck for Marko with that takedown attempt.
Marko has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Wiedman.
Wiedman finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Wiedman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Wiedman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Marko chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wiedman can pounce on him.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Flint Marko has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jack Wiedman is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
