Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chuck Norris!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris takes a swing at Evans's ribcage but misses.
Norris tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Evans was well out of range. Poor timing from Norris.
Norris misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Joe Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Evans throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Norris fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Evans manages to avoid it.
Evans throws a right and a left that Norris avoids nicely.
Norris takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Evans keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Norris misses with a wild body shot.
Norris throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Evans bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Norris is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Norris is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Evans wants to stand but Norris has his arm trapped.

Norris manages to work his way to half guard, despite Evans's best efforts.
Norris slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Evans is looking to stand up but Norris won't let him.

Evans on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Evans tries to get out of the position.

Evans is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Evans really wants to buck Norris off and get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Norris throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Evans uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Norris.
Norris is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Evans rather than just go for the knockout.
Norris throws a head kick but Evans moves out of range.
Evans shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Norris avoids a punch combination nicely.

Norris keeps control of Evans as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Norris has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Evans has Norris pressed against the cage, preventing Norris from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Evans is trying to force a seperation but Norris has the dominant position.
Evans misses with a punch on the inside.

Evans gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Norris regains guard.
Evans wants to stand but Norris is controlling his posture from full guard.
Norris looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Evans working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Norris utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Evans wants to stand but Norris has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Norris swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Evans throws a series of punches but Norris avoids them all with ease.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Evans takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Norris keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Norris throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Evans.

Norris takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Evans is rocked!
Norris lands a nice looking body shot.
Oh Evans is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Norris and Evans are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Norris throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Evans into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Norris knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Chuck Norris!
Chuck Norris decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
