Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eliza Marie II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Per Saukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marie II kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is You´re the voice - John Farnham. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saukko throws a lazy right hand but Marie II sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Marie II uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Saukko.
Marie II wants to clinch.
Saukko scores with a crisp jab that stopped Marie II in his tracks.
Saukko checks the leg kick.
Marie II misses the jab.
Per Saukko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saukko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Marie II tries to avoid it but Saukko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Marie II to the ground. Marie II escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Saukko smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Marie II tried to score with a low kick but Saukko checks it.
Marie II moves out of range as Saukko strikes.
Saukko misses with a few strikes there.

Saukko postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Marie II looks a forlorn figure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
