Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Ulpius Traianus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luola Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mies's choice of entrance music: Can't be touched. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luola Mies!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Traianus lands a jab.
Traianus throws a body punch but Mies moves out of range.
Luola Mies seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Traianus looks to score with a jab to the body but Mies is just out of range.
Mies takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Traianus is looking to clinch but Mies is avoiding it.
Traianus thows a body shot but no joy.
Mies tries to score with a low kick but Traianus moves his leg out of the way.
Mies clobbers Traianus with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Marcus Ulpius Traianus has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Traianus on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mies. Mies obviously looking to wear him down.
Traianus throws a lazy head kick
and Mies finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Mies ducks under a wild hook from Traianus.
Mies goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Mies works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Mies scores with a nice right hand.
Traianus avoids the head kick by Mies.

Mies avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Mies throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Traianus stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mies is looking to slow Traianus down with leg kicks.
Mies throws out a powerful jab.
Mies tries a head kick but it misses.
Traianus walks into a jab.
Marcus Ulpius Traianus's cut is getting worse.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Traianus swats away the attempt to clinch by Mies.
Traianus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mies manages to avoid it.
Nice uppercut lands for Mies. That snapped Traianus's head back.
Mies feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Traianus's calf.
Traianus walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Marcus Ulpius Traianus's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Mies feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Traianuss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Traianus takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mies throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Mies feints and then cracks Traianus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Traianus down.
Traianus takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Traianus doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Mies has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Mies throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mies drives through and clinches with Traianus against the cage.

Traianus blocking some punches.
Mies goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Traianus tries to throw a body punch but Mies avoids it by throwing Traianus back against the cage.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Traianus throws a punch but it's blocked by Mies.

Traianus misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Mies blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Mies throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Mies cracks Traianus with a nice body shot.
Mies tries to work over Traianus's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Mies lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Mies creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Traianus's defenses.
Jeez, Marcus Ulpius Traianus's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Marcus Ulpius Traianus's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
