The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasyanov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kasyanov bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Overeem's head backwards.
Kasyanov blocks a head kick by Overeem.
Kasyanov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Overeem paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Overeem throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Overeem tries a head kick but it misses.
Kasyanov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Kasyanov feints and then cracks Overeem's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Overeem down.

Kasyanov works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Kasyanov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kasyanov is looking to clinch but Overeem is avoiding it.
Overeem avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
