Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Doctor Rockzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Wispe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wispe has chosen Me Against The World as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wispe throws a head kick but Rockzo moves out of range.
Rockzo shoots in and drives through. Wispe sprawls well.
Wispe lands a right hook to the body.
Wispe fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Wispe avoids a kick to the body.
Wispe tries a head kick but it misses.
Wispe lands with an uppercut that bounces Rockzo off the cage and back into range.
Rockzo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wispe is fending him off so far but Rockzo persists. Nope, Wispe circles away and we're back to standing.

Rockzo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wispe to score with a decent uppercut.

Rockzo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Wispe connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rockzo scrambles back to his feet.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Rockzo. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Horrible takedown by Rockzo or perhaps it was just good defense by Wispe which made him look bad.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Rockzo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Good leg kick by Wispe there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Rockzo might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
