Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Funkyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sir John MacDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Funkyama comes to the cage accompanied by Renegade of Funk. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacDonald misses with a wild combination.
MacDonald tries to clinch but Funkyama moves away
and Funkyama counters with a nice uppercut.
Funkyama lands with a slapping head kick.

MacDonald shoots in and gets a takedown into Funkyama's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
MacDonald tries to free his leg and advance position but Funkyama is retaining full guard.
Funkyama knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for MacDonald on the ground.

MacDonald uses his free foot to push down on Funkyama's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Funkyama.
Funkyama is trying desperately to improve position.

MacDonald wants to finish this one by submission but Funkyama is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from MacDonald.
