Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sloat Gresham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Heart of a Champion. Gresham is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Gresham counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Gracie!
Gracie is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gresham is working for a guillotine from mount but Gracie frees his head quite easily.

Gresham working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That was a close round but I would say that Royce Gracie will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
