Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keiko Lynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Roth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roth has chosen Shawn Michaels - Sexy Boy as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keiko Lynn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Roth!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roth shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Roth uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lynn.
Lynn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Roth.
Roth moves away from the strike by Lynn.
Lynn lands a right hook to the body.
Roth fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lynn manages to avoid it.
A bone on bone clash there as Roth blocks the leg kick.
Lynn lunges at Roth with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Roth's hand.


It looks like Daniel Roth has been cut.
Roth gets cracked there but stands up to it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lynn misses with a combination

and Roth counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Roth trying to control but Lynn is working from the bottom.

Lynn pulls Roth in close to his closed guard and prevents Roth from doing any damage or advancing position.
Roth throws a big right hand that misses.
Roth throwing strikes from guard but Lynn blocks nicely.
Lynn wants to sweep here but Roth controlling him for the moment.

Keiko Lynn has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
A big right from Lynn misses.
Roth ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Roth lands with a good body shot.
Keiko Lynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roth steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lynn.
Lynn misses with a wild combination.
Lynn pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Lynn misses with an uppercut.
Roth slips a jab and a cross from Lynn.
No luck for Roth with that takedown attempt.

Lynn thows a left - swing and a miss!

and Roth counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Roth is taking a breather. Lynn says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

It looks like Roth might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Roth wants to take a breather but Lynn is having none of it.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Roth throwing shots but Lynn is blocking nicely.
Roth has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lynn is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Daniel Roth hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Lynn looks to land a right hand but Roth moved out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Keiko Lynn will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Daniel Roth's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


A slow jab from Lynn misses its intended target.
Roth takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Roth shoots in looking for a takedown but Lynn manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Roth's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lynn throws a looping overhand right but Roth ducks down to avoid it.

Roth thows a body shot but no joy.
The fighters circling - Lynn throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lynn misses with a looping right.
Roth misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lynn throws a hook but Roth avoids it easily.

Lynn throws a hook to the side of Roth's head but Roth sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Roth is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lynn sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Keiko Lynn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Roth.
Lynn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lynn throws a looping overhand right but Roth ducks down to avoid it.
Good shot there by Roth.
Roth throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lynn jabs Roth right on the nose. Roth blinks but takes it well.
Roth takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Roth is breathing heavily.
Roth showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lynn.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lynn feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Roth sprawling to the canvas! Roth rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lynn finish him?!


Roth is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lynn fails to land with a series of punches.
Roth is still on wobbly legs! Can Lynn finish him?
Roth dodges the punch combination from Lynn.
Lynn looks to land a right hand but Roth moved out of range.
Roth drops his hands for a split second and Lynn immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Roth face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Lynn follows up with a right hand that knocks Roth into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Keiko Lynn!
