Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jum Uytr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jum Uytr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Jones!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Uytr gets a double leg takedown into Jones's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Uytr tries to stand but Jones is controlling from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Uytr trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Uytr loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Jones has his foot on Uytr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Uytr works his way back into a safe position though.
Uytr has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Jones wants to stand up but Uytr is controlling him.

Jones has a closed guard, preventing Uytr from standing up.
Uytr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.
Uytr trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jum Uytr just wasn't active enough.

Uytr fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage.
Jones blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Jones drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Uytr gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Uytr ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Uytr no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Jones working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Uytr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Uytr has his hands on Jones's head, controlling the position.
Uytr can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jones controls the pace.
Uytr is trying to keep Jones in close.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jones tries for a takedown but Uytr circles away easily

and Uytr counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jones's guard now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Uytr slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Uytr tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.

Jones looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Jones pushes a forearm under Uytr's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Uytr is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
