Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jarkko Vuorinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryuhaku Todoh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vuorinen comes to the cage accompanied by Teräsbetoni - Taivas lyö Tulta . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryuhaku Todoh!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vuorinen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Todoh avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Todoh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Todoh throws a front kick aimed at Vuorinen's knee but Vuorinen avoids it well.
Todoh shoots in looking for a takedown but Vuorinen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Todoh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Todoh lands a body shot.
Todoh fails with the takedown.
Vuorinen scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Vuorinen connects with a body shot that sends Todoh's belly button to the back.
Todoh wants to clinch.
Todoh shoots in and drives through. Vuorinen sprawls well.
Jarkko Vuorinen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryuhaku Todoh.
Vuorinen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vuorinen, as that shot connected.

Jarkko Vuorinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Todoh goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Todoh throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Todoh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vuorinen sprawls well. Vuorinen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Todoh gets slowly back to his feet.
Vuorinen throws a one two combo.
Vuorinen pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Todoh back to the cage. Vuorinen follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Vuorinen closes the distance and clinches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Todoh turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Todoh manages to end up in side control.

Vuorinen tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Vuorinen is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Todoh asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Vuorinen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Todoh controls the position.
Vuorinen is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Todoh has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Todoh throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Vuorinen has his hands clasped together but Todoh breaks the hold and Vuorinen is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Todoh!
