Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Davis Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Humberto Jamie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black ducks under a wild hook from Jamie.

and Black counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Jamie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Black moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Jamie bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Black's head.

Black has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jamie is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Black feints and as Jamie raises his hands in defense, Black changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jamie can do anything to dispel that myth.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Black accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Black sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jamie's guard.

Black has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Black can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jamie is looking to escape.

Jamie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Black. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
