Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zack Morrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Henry Winkler!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison shoots in for a double leg but Winkler sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Morrison closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Morrison lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Morrison is looking to work some ground and pound but Winkler has wrist control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Morrison accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Morrison looking to sit in guard and control but Winkler gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Morrison is trying to hold Winkler in close to prevent damage but Winkler has managed to pass into half guard.
Winkler is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Winkler is taking a breather. Morrison says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Winkler prevents Morrison from improving his position.
Morrison moves into full guard.
Winkler is stalling in the full guard.

Morrison is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Winkler accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Winkler not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Henry Winkler hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Morrison shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Winkler sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Morrison is just content to waste time from the top position. Winkler takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morrison not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Winkler preventing the sweep.
Winkler is stalling in the full guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Henry Winkler hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Morrison fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Zack Morrison will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zack Morrison. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Winkler tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Morrison was well out of range. Poor timing from Winkler.
Winkler is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Morrison tries to score a power double leg takedown but Winkler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Morrison somewhat.

and Winkler counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Winkler lands an overhand right.
Morrison takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Morrison is rocked!

Winkler closes the distance looking for a takedown. Morrison stuffs it but Winkler still has hold of him. Winkler picks Morrison up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Winkler slams Morrison to the floor and that's really hurt Morrison - he doesn't know where he is! Winkler throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
