The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kelly circles away.
Santos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kelly's waist but Kelly gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Santos off to one side.

It looks like Marcelo Santos has been cut.
Kelly throws out a leg kick but Santos moves out of range and Kelly only half commits.
Santos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kelly as he jumps to the side.
Albert Kelly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcelo Santos.
Kelly stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kelly wants it to stay on the feet.
Santos misses with a jab, cross combination.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kelly.

Santos chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kelly can pounce on him.
Kelly bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Santos's head.

Santos is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kelly is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Santos.

Kelly closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Santos! Kelly dives in looking to finish! Santos is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
