The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ranger wants to clinch up but Chimpo keeps it at a distance.
Chimpo stuffs the takedown.
Ranger closes the distance and clinches.
Ranger looking to stall.
Chimpo pulls guard effortlessly.
Chimpo looking for a sweep. Not yet Chimpo, not yet.
Ranger wants to stand but Chimpo is controlling his posture from full guard.
Chimpo tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chimpo is on top in guard.
Chimpo passes Ranger's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chimpo seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ranger is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
